Honoured by the National Foundation "Hristo Botev"

In under a year, 20+ schools and 10+ universities reached out to enrich their AI content through courses, discussions, and trainings. Over 9 months the team systematically visited Vratsa, Varna, Velingrad, Plovdiv, Pernik, Sofia, and Skravena delivering 13+ AI trainings in Sofia and Plovdiv alone for audiences from 4th grade to 4th-year university.

Built a "learning by doing" system connecting history with AI. Pilot assignments were given to business administration students at UNSS and to 8th–12th grade students specialising in Artificial Intelligence in Velingrad. While mastering modern technologies, children develop critical thinking and create historical content and some earn the opportunity to work with the team.

In three pilot editions, teachers were also trained on how to use artificial intelligence after the sessions they were more inclined to apply it in their classes and guide students in working with it.

National Distinction

In June, the Epoha Online team was honoured by the National Foundation "Hristo Botev" for contributions to preserving the spirit, ideals, and work of Botev a distinction held by only 101 people in Bulgaria.

Why It Matters for Bulgaria

Bulgaria needs a bridge between cultural heritage, education, and technology. A 2023 ETH Zurich study shows that AI video content achieves similar learning outcomes to traditional video. The Epoha Online approach preserves cultural heritage through classical literature and delivers it accessibly to children a model applicable beyond Bulgaria, with active interest from the US and India.
